Jim Swiggart

Jim is a retired music educator with degrees in vocal, instrumental and church music from Oklahoma City University and Wichita State University and Doctoral studies at Oklahoma University serves as Choir Director at HICC. 

His career spans over 50 years as a church choir director in Oklahoma, Kansas, and Arkansas. 

Locally he served as General Director of Opera in the Ozarks, a nationally known program for emerging young opera artists for over 25 years before retiring recently and also led the Berryville school band program to an outstanding music level.  He has been active with HICC since 1997.
