PASTOR DR. JEFFREY T. TIMM

Pastor of Holiday Island Community Church since March of 2016.

Dr. Jeff Timm was installed as the fourth pastor of Holiday Island Community Church. He came to us from a 10-year ministry at Citrus Springs Community Church in Florida.

Jeff has been in ministry since 1970.  Twenty-one of those years was as an USAF Chaplain, retiring as a Lt. Colonel.  Since his retirement from the Air Force, he has serviced Methodist, Disciples of Christ, Presbyterian, and Congregational churches. He grew up in the Episcopal church. His largest congregation was a church in Shreveport, LA that grew from 850 to 1000 in his three years as Senior Minister.

Dr. Timm is a graduate of TCU, Duke Divinity School, Columbia Pacific University, and has a Certificate in Management from WSU.

Jeff is married to Karen Timm, who is also our church secretary.  Karen was born and raised in Massachusetts and is the mom of two children, 4 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren and has 6 little rescue dogs. Their Yorkie Ted, also serves as our Pastoral Pup.  He greets people as they arrive and depart church most Sundays.

The Timm family has a long military history. Jeff’s Dad served 28 yrs. in the USAF as a pilot and his step-dad was 34 yrs. Army.  Both served in WW2 and Korea.  Jeff has lived in France, Italy, Philippines, Egypt, and Korea.  Karen’s son will retire in 2023 after a 30-year Army career.

The Timm’s are very active in the life of the Holiday Island Community and are always looking for ways to connect with their wonderful HI Community Church family.  We would love to include you as well
